Want to know how Creative Steps 2.0 works in real? The first workshop of Creative Steps 2.0 model was held in Rovaniemi/Tornio – Finnish Lapland in May 2016 and worked out really great! Let´s find out which adventures participants have been through!

What they have in common? Creative Steps 2.0 business innovation workshop experience!

The creators and facilitators of the workshop were Anitra Arkko-Saukkonen and Anželika Krastiņa– professors from Lapland University of Applied Sciences. Workshop consisted of students which had different educational backgrounds – Visual Arts, International Business, and Information Technology.
Students and companies were divided into 4 Creative Teams and they were working as a team for innovative development of the companies. All the sessions were held online so teams could work together even against the huge distances between them! They were going together through the journey of 10 steps and even as a part of the workshop they participated at the Barents Reunion which is an event promoting cooperation among people in the Barents area!
Business experts participated in this workshop through Creative Clinic team when Creative Teams received feedback from experts on how to further develop their ideas.
As the final step of the workshop, teams pitched their idea to the Creative Cave Pool – that is a group of business/investment advisers from different countries.
Creative Steps 2.0 taught students how to move from a simple idea to the pitching of a business solution. For some students, Creative Steps 2.0 was a source of inspiration encouragement to become an entrepreneur.
