Another interview with participant of Creative Steps 2.0 workshop – Let me introduce you Denis Ivanov! Are you curious what he said about the workshop? Just keep reading!
Denis is student of Lapland University of Applied Sciences and is currently working on his thesis and at the same time working as a projects communication manager.
- Why you decided to participate in CS 2.0 workshop held in Finnish Lapland?
It was part of my job when I was working as a coach-teacher and project manager assistant for Lapland UAS. However, it was mostly my own wish since we were quite busy at that time, but I was just curious about the methodology, improving my entrepreneurial competences and meeting new people.
- What were the most interesting things for you during the workshop?
- Learning and understanding the principles of CS2.0 Methodology and tools
- Applying these tools in real-life
- Reporting and presentation on distance
The most challenging? Nothing, I enjoyed new experiences and didn’t feel any challenges.
- What have you learnt during the workshop?
I have gained new skills, for example:
- New theoretical knowledge and innovation tools application
- Technical and distant learning software skills
- Concept development and presentation skills
Denis would improve only a small thing – most of the team members were quite passive, so maybe better involvement and icebreaking activities between team members could help, or different CS participants’ selection method (selection entrepreneurial spirit people with active attitude to life).
He said: “The overall process of the workshop was very well organized, good coaching from project coaches, interesting development and innovative tools and great activities. The whole process of making the ready-made product concept from draft idea using eTools and distance learning was very innovative and I was delighted to get this unique experience.”

“Be brave, learn new things, open new horizons and never be lazy and passive.” – Denis Ivanov
