Creative Steps 2.0 – Step 1 – Identifying the business case

The main goal of this blog post is to clearly explain the “Step 1” for everyone who wants to know more detailed information (main aim, optimal duration, tools…) about the overall process.

Finally, we are getting to the Step 1 of Creative Steps 2.0!

This is the first step participants need to take. During the process of this step Creative Teams brainstorm on potential new business ideas and eventually specify a business case that they will be working with during the rest of the workshop! How do they do it? With the use of Business case mind map (see here more about this tool) it is going to be easy!

Optimal duration of this step is about 4 hours of teamwork and the result of these 4 hours of brainstorming is an established business case! How to achieve that?

Teams have to set the goal for next project on business idea development. They have to be able to describe current problems that the case should solve. They have to be able to explain on which existing resource the case will concentrate and what added value it will have. After this they create a presentation about their thoughts and they can move to → the Step 2.
