The main goal of this blog post is to clearly explain the “Step 5” for everyone who wants to know more detailed information (main aim, optimal duration, tools…) about the overall process.
Finally, we are getting to the first checkpoint where Creative teams are able to test their ideas! In addition, during the time spend on this Step, they “need to” think outside the box! Sounds like fun and it really is!
The whole Creative Steps methodology is not using much of the traditional methods, that is what is showed and experienced by participants also in the Step 5! The main aim is to get participants out of the box, helping them to see more innovative solutions to the problem by using SCAMPER tool (read more about it here) and experiencing Catch-Me Energizer (read more about it here) to keep the blood flowing.
The optimal duration is 4 hours and the result of all this is Creative Teams receiving feedback on their ideas and adding some “crazy” ideas based on SCAMPER ideation (read more about SCAMPER here).
Now it would be a time to polish those ideas as well as give the ideas some incubation time before they are presented to the Creative Cave Pool – business experts, who are prepared to give very realistic feedback.
So let´s see what is going to happen next in the Step 6 → here!
